- We do not provide simple old photo scanning services
- We do not provide simple old photo restoration services
The following items are available for purchase in the "Old Photo Restoration + Reproduction into Metal Painting":
A. Advanced Repair
If you purchase this item, we will further refine it using post-production software:
- AI repair makes the character's face clearer
- Further manual repair to reduce scratches, dust spots, mildew spots, and noise in photos
Please understand and agree:
- We can only reduce scratches, dust spots, and mildew spots on photos, but cannot completely eliminate the traces of age on photos.
- If the photo has obvious damage or missing parts, it cannot be repaired by post-production software.
B. Download high-resolution images
It can only be downloaded after printing is completed. If you finally choose not to reproduce the metal photo, we will remove this option.
We will provide a high-resolution JPG/TIFF file link (Google Drive) for you to download.
- The link will be valid for one month after notification. Please download it within the deadline and keep the file properly.
- After the deadline, we will stop sharing the link and delete the file. We are not responsible for the storage of the file, so please take note.
We will send you at least three emails during the process. Please pay attention to them and reply as necessary .
After the order is placed, please mail the original copies of the old photos and negatives to us. After we receive the original photos and negatives you mailed, the reproduction process is described as follows.
Step 1: Scan and basic repair
We use professional photo/film scanners and scanning software to restore your old photos or negatives:
- Reduce color cast in photos and films
- Reduce scratches and dust spots on photos and negatives
- Adjust the sharpness, contrast and brightness of the image to reproduce the original image and make it suitable for printing metal photos.
If the photos and negatives are clearly damaged or missing, they cannot be repaired using scanning and repair software.
Step 2: Advanced Repair (Optional)
If you purchase this item, we will further refine it using post-production software:
- AI repair makes the character's face clearer
- Further reduce scratches, dust spots, mildew spots, and noise in photos
If a photo has visible damage or missing parts, it cannot be repaired using post-production software, nor can the traces of age be completely eliminated.
Step 3: Please review the restored digital image file
After the repair is completed, we will email you the completed image file (a small image file with a long side of 900 pixels, suitable for sharing on the Internet, not suitable for printing photos)
When you receive our email, please reply to us and we will handle the follow-up according to your instructions...
Step 4-1: Unsatisfied with the repair result
If you are not satisfied with the image quality of the restored photos and negatives, please reply to the email to let us know. We will not reproduce your old photos and will send your photos or negatives back to you.
For the fees, we will charge the following processing and service fees:
- Fixed fee: Scanning, basic restoration processing fees, and photo return fee (Taiwan Mainland), totaling $600
- Optional Fee: Advanced repair fee "manual repair of scratches, dust spots, mildew spots" optional item (depending on the purchase amount of your order)
After deducting the above fees, we will refund the remaining balance to your original payment account.
Step 4-2: Very satisfied with the repair result
- Please reply to confirm that there is no problem, and we will start the printing process of the old photo reproduction
- We will send you the original photo and negative, along with the completed metal print.
