This makes them the most worry-free and effortless imaging material for daily display in an island climate.

1. Ideal Limits of the Laboratory
   According to tests conducted by the authoritative international WIR lab under strictly controlled conditions, ChromaLuxe aluminum panels have a lightfastness rating of 60 to 65 years. The Image Permanence Institute (IPI)'s accelerated aging experiments also indicate that, under ideal dark storage conditions, it is estimated that only a barely perceptible slight yellowing will occur after approximately 64 years.
2. Real-World Chemical Challenges
   However, the above are "laboratory utopia" data that exclude variables. In a real environment like Taiwan, with an average humidity of over 74%, if an artwork is exposed to direct strong light, air pollution, high temperatures, or is sealed and stored in non-acid-free ordinary corrugated cardboard boxes and bubble wrap, the chemical gases released by the packaging materials and the hot and humid environment will create a strong catalytic effect. This could lead to visible chemical yellowing and color shifts in just a few years. (This is why we do not recommend storing received artworks untouched in their original packaging.)

Metal prints will naturally age and yellow over time; however, compared to traditional paper prints that can mold, wrinkle, or even fatally stick to glass and be completely destroyed due to environmental moisture absorption in just a few years, metal prints come with robust physical defense right out of the factory and can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth or diluted alcohol to remove dust. This allows you to fully enjoy the most brilliant golden lifecycle of art without the burden of maintenance.
