To put it simply, we can divide the printing process of dazzling metal prints into three steps according to the tools used:
- The first is the preparation of the file. We carefully check the details of the image file in Photoshop, including clarity, light and shade, contrast, etc.
- After the file preparation is completed, we will use a dedicated dye-sublimation output machine with special image processing software to mirror the image left and right, and first print it on the transfer paper. At this time, the image on the transfer paper is reversed from left to right.
- Finally, we will transfer the image on the transfer paper to the ChromaLuxe metal aluminum plate through a heat press. When transferring, we first put the transfer paper face to face on the metal aluminum plate, put it into a heat press, and through appropriate time, temperature and pressure, the image on the transfer paper is sublimated and dissolved into the special surface coating of the metal aluminum plate
At this time, a dazzling metallic image with rich layers and bright colors was born.
