As a Taiwan printing center that can be found on ChromaLuxe official website (https://www.chromaluxe.com/where-to-buy/), the inks we use are, of course, the inks that have passed the original factory test. One of the brands! In addition, ChromaLuxe has a special note (*) in the document, and the conditions for testing outdoor panels are as follows:
Location: South Florida Facing: South Angle: Vertical (less than 15° from true vertical)
Finally, there is a note: if the outdoor panels are installed in other locations, facing and sheltered, the display period of the works will be extended .
It is this last sentence that arouses our curiosity...
"Five years" is the result obtained from the official test environment and methods. If it were put in Taiwan, would it still be the number "five years"? Or will it be longer than five years, or will it be shorter?
The biggest fear of outdoor graphic works is fading and color shift , which will affect the viewability of outdoor graphic installations; and surface peeling or damage is another important reason that affects the quality of works, and climate (especially the degree of sunlight) is the biggest Killer!
Our analysis method is not complicated, just assume a city in southern Florida, obtain the average sunshine hours of the city, and then compare it with the environment in Taiwan. The longer the sunshine hours, the greater the damage to the works. At the same time, we also provide information such as the average temperature and relative humidity of these cities for your reference.
Miami is a well-known city in Florida, USA. It happens to be located in the south of Florida. It is the best comparison object. Please see the analysis of the data we collected below:

God, in terms of geographical location, Miami is less than one degree north latitude north of Taipei City, and it can be regarded as a tropical climate. Although the annual average temperature is similar to that of Taiwan, and the humidity is only 14-15% lower than Taiwan, the weather is so good that it breaks the table. The sunshine hours are nearly 15% longer than that of Kaohsiung City, which is the longest in Taiwan. Therefore , from the perspective of sunlight, if the metal-printed "outdoor panels" can last five years in Miami, it can be reasonably inferred. It will definitely last more than five years in Taiwan !
