Recalling that it was more than a year ago when she first received a phone call from Liying, and after she received the first metal print, she wrote a comment on us. A whole year ago, on November 27 last year...
In the three years since we opened our business, this is the first time we have encountered artists who started to explore the output media of their works more than a year ago in order to prepare for the creation exhibition. From this small detail, we can speculate and imagine that they must have spent a lot of effort and a long time in Getting ready for this exhibition!

【Thermal transfection metal imaging】

Although the creative styles of the two artists are completely different, they both start from the daily scene and describe their inner world and views with images through the dialogue of the inner self. This seemingly non-existent scenery, if we slow down Footsteps, wandering between the images, in addition to having a deep and solid sense of existence, they have not consciously developed their own different small theaters!
The "Small Island" series contains rich time series and seasonal changes. Just as we are immersed in this peaceful time and space, seeing the dogs and birds that come to accompany us occasionally, accompanied by their voices, we can't help but wonder, are we One step short, passing by the island owner who returned to the island invisibly and enjoyed her tranquility?
The same is true for "separation". We are wandering between concrete and non-figurative, half-understanding. The presentation of color and form is serious, but when we turn around and look at the title, such as "Standing out of the crowd", there is humor in the serious existence. Even though we didn't have the opportunity to listen to the artist's official tour, and performed these small theaters in our hearts, we are still very happy to have the opportunity to visit the exhibition and appreciate how the duo who love photography use their image creation to explain their unique philosophy of life.
