Do you remember the "Dye-Sublimation Metal Imaging Process Explanation" video we shared in mid-September? That's right, it's for this exhibition! It opened in Kaohsiung on November 27th, and it's highly anticipated!
Thinking back to the first time Lily called, it was over a year ago. After she received her first metal print, she wrote a review for us. Upon closer inspection, it was exactly one year before the exhibition opened, on November 27th of last year...
In our three years of business, this is the first time we've encountered artists who started exploring artwork output materials over a year ago to prepare for a creative exhibition. From this small detail, one can infer and imagine that they must have dedicated a lot of effort and time to preparing for this exhibition!

【Wei-Sih Sisters Visit the Exhibition】
Thanks to "Peak Harmony & Beautiful Day: Non-existent Existence", we had the chance to make a quick trip to Kaohsiung to see the exhibition!
Although the two artists' creative styles are completely different, they both start from everyday scenes, using internal self-dialogue to depict their respective inner worlds and perspectives through images. This seemingly non-existent scenery, if we slow down and wander among the images, not only possesses a profound and solid sense of existence but also unconsciously develops into different small dramas!
The "Island" series contains a rich progression of time and changing seasons. Just as we were immersed in this serene space, we saw dogs and birds occasionally accompanying us. Accompanied by their sounds, we couldn't help but wonder if we had just missed the island owner, who had returned to the island and was enjoying its tranquility, by a step?
The same goes for "Separation from Phenomena." We wander between the concrete and the abstract, between understanding and not understanding. The presentation of colors and forms was originally serious, but upon turning around and seeing titles such as "A Crane Standing Among Chickens," the humor and wit emanating from the serious existence made us can't help but smile!
Even though we didn't have the opportunity to hear a formal guided tour by the artists, and instead played out these little dramas in our minds, we were still very happy to have the chance to visit the exhibition and appreciate how this duo, passionate about photography, uses image creation to articulate their unique philosophy of life, making this one-day flash trip to Kaohsiung both enriching and memorable!
