In 2018, we established a micro-innovation based on an impulse. For those of us who have no retail experience, we directly challenge new types of products, and boldly choose to only sell our products and services on e-commerce platforms. Silly and naive, leapfrogging to fight monsters!
But dreams are like this, if you don't take that step, it will always be just talk on paper, isn't it?
And our dream started to be practiced and implemented step by step from the day when the large machine was brought into the studio!
Yes, our products are really unfamiliar to Taiwan’s photography art world; yes, we don’t have any contacts and relationships; yes, we don’t have any output and printing experience for reference; yes, we don’t engage in low-price strategies; Most importantly, it is true, if the printing effect of the client's work is not good, we will take the initiative to persuade them to quit without hesitation, and prevent them from wasting money!
Everything starts from zero, and all we have is our persistence in our ideals and the ability to execute our dreams!
We want every creator to be so amazed that they can't help but say "Wow!" when they open the package and see the work for the first time; we want creators to rest assured that the work is noble but not delicate, and is not afraid of dirt and moisture , can be close to daily life and placed as you like; I want the creator to pick up the work after many years to appreciate it, it will still be as bright as new, and the corners of the mouth will rise unconsciously because of the full touch!
Even transporting the machine into the studio requires so much manpower and material resources. It is not difficult to imagine that the process of R&D and printing must be time-consuming and labor-intensive. It should not be an easy task...
Although the printed program only has software operation, output and heat pressing, these seemingly simple "machine operations" are not simple at all, they are also interlocking and knowledgeable, but it is precisely these details that hide the devil , which contributes to the imaging quality of the "Metal Impression" works.
During this period, we did not know how much material and cost we spent on continuous research and continuous refinement of the process, just to cultivate a good tacit understanding with these two hard machines, and to print the entrusted works well in India.
We know that our ability is limited, so we only focus on one thing, and that is to become a specialized production house of "metal prints"!
Along the way, Sister Wei Si said that the process of realizing dreams is not romantic at all, but it is the most beautiful scenery on this road that can be recognized by more and more creators, and it is also to continue to strive to become the best version of yourself , a great motivation!
