WPC (World Photographic Cup) is a world-class photography competition established in 2013 by the Federation of European Photographers (FEP) and the Professional Photographers of America (PPA). Its sole aim is to unite photographers in a spirit of camaraderie and cooperation, and it is also supported by UAPP (United Asian Professional Photography) and AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography). The brotherhood of photography is a bond that transcends language, culture and geography, and this is what the WPC World Photography Cup competition is based on.
ChromaLuxe became a sponsor of WPC for the first time in 2015. Due to the success of the competition and the outstanding entries, ChromaLuxe is pleased to announce on August 16, 2017 that it has raised the level of sponsorship to the gold level and became the first gold sponsor of the 2018 "WPC World Photography Cup". In addition to providing special rewards, the winners of Best Country will also closely participate in the "Theme" challenge held on Facebook, expressing their commitment to this major international event with practical actions.
Charles Henniker-Heaton, WPC World Photography Cup liaison at ChromaLuxe, said: "This competition brings together some of the greatest and most creative photographers in the world and provides them with the opportunity to be represented at the most prestigious event. Opportunities in my own country." "I am forever amazed by the quality and originality of the entries."
"At the World Photography Cup, we are delighted to have ChromaLuxe as our first Gold Sponsor," said Don MacGregor, Chairman of the WPC Sponsorship Committee. "Their management team understands the unique vision of the WPC World Photography Cup with a friendly competitive spirit come to unite the global photography community and raise the bar for professionalism. We would like to express our gratitude to ChromaLuxe around the world.”
